3. In the open document, click on View menu on top row and select "Show Equation Toolbar". That will initiate a mini Equation tool bar below the menu row. That is the archive of equation modules as well.

4. Now on the same Document, initiate "New Equation" tab by clicking it. This will show active Equation module lists. We can choose whichever equation module we like and start typing on the document.(In this example its : Limit Equation)

5. Once the equation is made, we can publish it to online websites, email to students directly from the same documents, download the document as PDF for printing, or email it as attachment to our students.

Even More, we can create a quiz in Google Classroom using the same Google Document as reference question.
We have handful of equation making Chrome extensions in Chrome Web-Store. Which are more integrated and functional till date. But to start with, Math equation within Google Doc might be the best option.

In this Blog, i will be showing the most anticipated plugin of Google Doc to write math equation. Lets get Started:
1. Open drive.google.com (your Google Drive) from a browser. Preferably Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
2. On the left top column, click on NEW tab and in the drop down menu select Google Docs. That will open a new Document window, in that document we will be writing our first math equation. Rename the document on left top "Untitled Document" space with your desired name.
